Executive Producer Skip Erickson of Ubiquitous Cre8ive, LLC and Producer Nicole M. Sullivan of Li'l Hedy Productions take a stab at the human condition with the satirical, and occasionally dramatic show, "group - the series."

In this new dramedy web series, Erickson lays it all on the table (or floor as it were), with an eclectic group of people discussing or ranting about problems ranging from life, to politics, to religion, to why elderly people are still allowed to drive. The cast is an amalgamation of both improv artists and aspiring actors.

The series takes place in a non-de script meeting room where the cast sits around in a semi-circle discussing topics given to them by the group leader. The group leader, seasoned actor/director Bill Premin, acts as mediator over each of the episode topics. Unscripted, uncensored, obnoxious, outrageous... these are just some of the words that describe what ensues during each session.

The result is a unique mix of improvisational comedy and reality entertainment that keeps the audience - not to mention the actors - guessing.

Executive Producer Skip Erickson stated, "I love the shows 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and 'Who's Line Is It Anyway?'. I love what Larry David does with minimal scripting, and I love when the audience sets up the situation on 'Who's Line'. I enjoy giving actors situations and seeing what they can do with their characters. I like the surprise of not knowing where a show may lead itself. As a director, you like to give some form of direction, but not too much. I like being just as entertained as the audience is. I wanted "group - the series" to move like a stage play - without the rehearsal."

Using the growing technology of web-based entertainment, "group - the series" will include the audience in a new and exciting way. Not only will viewers enjoy watching "webisodes" online, they will be able to experience an interactive online environment where they can discuss the show's topics, the characters, and even suggest ideas for upcoming webisodes.

"group - the series" has already developed a strong fan following, and with the unbridled enthusiasm of the cast, the crew, and the growing audience, "group - the series" is sure to be in session well into the future.

"group - the series" is a production of Ubiquitous Cre8ive, LLC in association with Li'l Hedy Productions.
